Hi all, just curious on age limitations on joining a sorority at UW! I’ve been living with a brain tumor and heart condition my whole life that caused me to be extremely ill so I’m just starting college next fall, problem is, I’m 27 /: I’m extremely passionate about having a great group of friends to study with and hang out with considering I’ll be coming all the way from the East Coast!

I’m positive you’ll still be able to join!! You should email UW Panhellenic and tell them about your situation

Are you still eligible? Yes. Is it likely you'll get a bid? Maybe. You are nearly 10 years older than most of the girls coming through. You will be older than everyone else in the house, by several years. I think you'll be fighting an uphill battle.

I agree you should email Panhellenic about it and see what they recommend.

If you're real, and I doubt that, why would you want to make friends with 18-20 year olds? The UW is massive with a lot of older students you might make friends with and have more interests in common.
