surgery during rush week
by: HelpSo I have a big issue. I have to have knee surgery on the 8th which is during rush week so I will be unable to complete rush fully. Should I just cancel rush all together and just COB when I’m healed?

Umm definitely try and reschedule your surgery if possible even if it’s just a week later. Rush is the BEST way to find the perfect fit for you in terms of a sorority, and trust me you are going to want a strong support system and friends around you not only after your surgery but for your next four years here at UW and forever. Rushing opens up so many doors and new friendships and I think going through formal fall recruitment is totally worth it in every way possible . So I would totally recommend trying to reschedule and I think many other women in our Greek community would agree with me.
