contacting sororities about cob

Is it normal for girls to reach out to sororities for COB? I am participating in COB but did not participate in FFR this year and don't have many connections in the Greek system so I'm wondering if it would be okay for me to start the conversation? Have houses filled up already?

Most have filled up, yes. However it would not hurt to email them and say you’re interested! Houses will probably open up during winter quarter
