Are all the houses on the cob list still looking? I’ve heard mixed things about cob. And any houses that aren’t on the list now planning to cob girls? I’ve heard great things about a lot of the houses. I don’t listen to greek rankers because I totally get that there’s the pros and cons of each house.
It would be pretty cool if someone just said which houses are looking without stating your house.. also kind of unsure what to say when I reach out to recruitment chairs? Advice?

They will update the COB list on the panhell website at the beginning of winter quarter, so check then.
COBing is nice because you can sit down with girls in the house and have a real conversation with them. It's best if you get invited back for a house tour and meal because you can meet girls that would be in your PC and you can really see how girls in the house interact with each other. FFR is incredibly stressful and makes joining a house kind of a competition, but COB feels more natural. Make sure when you COB that you explain why you'd be an asset to the house and why you love that house specifically.
And if you feel the need to reach out to a certain house, just make it clear that you're interested in meeting girls from that house in particular for whatever reasons (you've seen girls on campus who are involved, you love their philanthropy, or maybe you see how well they do academically).
