I was also dropped from over half of the houses during recruitment my year. Its been three years since then and I couldn't be happier with the house I am in.

Honestly, the first two days of recruitment are cutthroat. Several houses judge solely based off of your appearance during open house, and bother to get to know if you're "cool" or not during later rounds.

Hometown is also a huge part of it, girls from rich areas in so cal will be scored higher than girls in tiny towns in idaho or something. They just want to know if you have money off the bat.

A third thing is instagram. Girls spend a majority of the first two days doing as much internet stalking as possible... if you have a cool instagram they are much more likely to want you back. Girls with weak instagrams are instantly scored very low. Its literally something in tri delt and aphi that they're told to do during recruitment training.

recruitment is really superficial, most houses (especially the top) want girls that are pretty and nothing else. They could care less how smart/driven/nice you are. I hope for your sake that youve found a house you love, or are thinking of doing Cob!
