thoughts about joining a new frat?

Hey I'm thinking about pledging Theta Chi, as they are reopening their house. Is this viewed as "weird" or "lame" around the Greek system? Thoughts for or against? Thanks!

If you have to ask if theyre weird then they probably are, use your best judgement. Ask yourself if you can see yourself to be l iving with those guys for 4 years. See the other thread about ΘΧ

I had a few guy friends from theta chi, but I really didn't like the rest of the house. A lot of them felt creepy at dances. And a lot of them could careless about respecting girls. Plus all of the problems with their past years, I'd really recommend checking out more houses. Remember rushing tactics are going to seem great for fun and partying, but can you see yourself living with them and calling them your brothers? If you can then great! But if you hesitate, take more time to rush until you're sure
