joining a different house after being initiated

by: regretful member

Is it at all even theoretically possible to join a different house if you've been a member in one frat for a whole year and have decided it isn't the house for you? As a rising sophomore, I have realized the house i was initiated in is not the house for me, so is it possible to drop/ get expelled and rush a different house?

I know a guy that pledged lambda as a freshman and then dropped to rush somewhere else as sophmore. But then again its lambda, they don't have the power to blacklist you. But if you drop a well known house to rush somewhere else you will be called out.

McMahon or anywhere on west campus would likely take you, hagget may be a reach though depending on how cool you are.
