sophomore doing ffr

my high school gpa was pretty good (over a 3.5) and I was involved with a lot of stuff, but my college gpa is pretty low (under a 3.0) and I wasn't involved with any clubs.. will this seriously affect my chances of getting into a house? Even if there's that new policy about giving bids to a certain amount of sophomores?
