Most sororities will have payment plans that will help you out with the cost! Yes, it's a lot of money, but I'm sure your sorority will be able to work something out with you :) each sorority will give you financial info during house tours so you can get an idea of cost before bid day!

I mean like the registration fee and the fee to stay in dorms during rush week. Sorry, should've clarified.

Registration is $65 but could you possibly commute? It's not necessary to stay in the dorms during ffr

I live 3-4 hours away...

to be completely honest, if it's difficult for you to spend money to participate in recruitment maybe the cost of living in a sorority may be too much for you?

You can rent an Airbnb close to campus. I live like 10 miles from uw but I'd be willing to share with u

You said you're going to be in the dorms this year, but pretty much all girls going through recruitment have to live in the house their first year (and at least a year or two after that). If you have a housing contract and sign up for Recruitment, the housing contract will be canceled. You will have to call and have it reopened and then risk losing your deposit if you join a house and they require you to live in.

I think you better read through the recruitment FAQ on the panhellenic site.

If you can't afford $65 to register for ffr you most likely can't afford to be in a sorority period. Sorry!

Actually it's cheaper to live in a sorority than UW dorms.

Depends what house you're in and how much chapter dues are and what dorm you are in so "actually" wrong
