formal recruitment
by: XyzSo i will be in the dorms this coming school year and was just not thinking of participating in formal in September... but... the fees are too high for myself... any advice?

Most sororities will have payment plans that will help you out with the cost! Yes, it's a lot of money, but I'm sure your sorority will be able to work something out with you :) each sorority will give you financial info during house tours so you can get an idea of cost before bid day!

You said you're going to be in the dorms this year, but pretty much all girls going through recruitment have to live in the house their first year (and at least a year or two after that). If you have a housing contract and sign up for Recruitment, the housing contract will be canceled. You will have to call and have it reopened and then risk losing your deposit if you join a house and they require you to live in.

I mean like the registration fee and the fee to stay in dorms during rush week. Sorry, should've clarified.
