rush process
by: freshmanhuskySome of my rush chairs haven't texted me back after my house tour, does this mean I've been dropped? When do most people actually sign their houses?

rush chairs are really busy this time of year but there's a good chance you were dropped. if a house really wants a guy they're not going to let him slip through the cracks without extending a bid. Lots of guys start signing houses as soon as they're accepted to UW in march but plenty are still rushing in early summer. Barely anyone is still rushing in august

Lots of people still go through recruitment in August and September. Some rushees go through Long Distance Week in August and lots sign during Early Fall Start in September. And a good rule of thumb is if its been more than 10 days and a house hasn't texted you back, they probably felt that their house wasn't your best fit.
