Kappa is seen as one of the top houses, but that's from the name. Nationally a lot better than here. Obviously a few nice girls, but overall stuckup and think they are way better than they are.

Widely regarded as one of the top houses, but thought to be slipping. "Reputation" aside, every single one of these girls that I have met out at parties are very nice, and I am sure that you would really like the Kappas here. There are no incredibly obvious downsides to the house.

It is THE TOP house. The problem they have going for them us their house. They take a two man room and add two more freshmen to the space. Freshmen have to share closets and drawers. There is no room to sleep in the rooms so all freshmen sleep in a sleeping porch. All freshmen desks are in the basement. The living situation is very very bad. Even tho Kappa is a better house than Theta, I would go with Theta because their alums know how to make for a nice living experience.

Kappas are incredibly strong at UW and always have been. Your concern should not be about the physical structure of the house, it's the people inside. All of the Kappas I know are great people and very down to earth. My closest friends are Kappas. Definitely the way to go

I think these comments are all from Kappas. LOL. Ask any guy here about their 20 person pledge class (quota was 30?). kappas couldn't fill quota at rush so they had to snap bid girls off the street.Some nice girls, but not even close to a top house. Middle- lower tier.

You should ask Cece Beck. She has a sister who is a Kappa at UW.

No they're awful. Literally they aren't that hot and have 0 personality. My frat loathes prefunks with them because they are so boring and stuck up. So just join any other house. They are called "ice house" for a reason.

these comments are aggressive... kappas are a great house. they are not top tier by any means but they are middle. they do carry a slight "i am better than you" sort of vibe, but not all of them. they have a good name nationally but they're not as good here
