ffr 2017 qs

Going through FFR as a sophomore and pretty nervous but also excited.
1) How much do LORs matter?
2) How much does being a legacy matter? Are the policies different in each house, like DG/ADpi, etc?
3) I had to withdraw last year from FFR bc I got rlly sick in the middle of recruitment last year.. will they know that I'm rushing my second time?

1) What are LORs??
2) Legacy policies are different depending on the house, so it's hard to say! But it is definitely a benefit no matter what.
3) They don't reference previous year scores! They'll definitely ask what grade you're in and whatever so just prepare a little blurb about how you got sick last year during rush, felt like you were missing out this year, and so joining a chapter is definitely something you have been looking forward to for a while.

Same with legacies, letter of recs will carry different weights depending on the house, but it will never hurt you. However, I know in most houses, the girls in the house are allowed to have make 1-2 recommendations if they know girls going through FFR, so if you have friends definitely try to get one of those from them..
