Thoughts on phi tau? Will I really feel like I'm part of the US Greek system if sign?

Phi Tau's are the most genuine, cool, laid back dudes in the Greek community. They may not be a huge house but their brotherhood is tight and the people that hang there always have a good time.

You won't have the stereotypical "frat" experience there. But the guys seem to all get along well, it's a lot of smart, nerdy guys that smoke weed and play video games together. Which is exactly what some guys are looking for. They are not the most social and don't throw huge parties or hang out with many sororities but if you're just looking for a chill group of guys to hang with you'll find it there.
