rising junior-is rushing worth it?
by: TransferHi all, I'm a transfer student (rising junior) and considering rushing a sorority this upcoming year. Is it likely that I'd get a bid? Thanks

Primary Formal Recruitment is your best shot at landing your sorority dream. Contact the greek offices NOW and sign up!
Your party invites may be more limited (reasons in post above) but a wide-open mind and heart toward your recruitment process can be your ticket to a forever sorority home.
"No quota for juniors" simply means their bid number is not included toward individual house quotas. For example, any willing house can make their regular formal recruitment quota of 55 frosh/sophs and still take as many 'free' juniors desired. This is done to build house numbers without having to COB and without penalty from going over campus house total.
All sororities look for individuals willing to work earnestly in their lifelong fraternal pursuits. Be the person they are looking for during recruitment and you may end up with a lucky bid; it only takes one.
