ffr as a sophomore

by:

Seriously think I made a mistake not doing FFR this year as a freshman. Dorming this year wasn't that bad, but I didn't really realize how hard it would be to find friends with the same interests as me. I really liked the idea of doing COB, but the house I'm interested in isn't participating...

And the thought of rushing next year and possibly not receiving a bid at all scares me LOL. Plus I talked to people from housing, and they said sororities usually don't take sophomores?? Thoughts?

I'm in a frat but the sorority girls I've talked to said they're doing something where sororities are required to have a certain number of sophomores/ juniors next year so if anything your odds could theoretically be better? Maybe someone in a sororit could confirm

Either way there's plenty of sophomores in the GS you're fine

plenty of people rush as sophomores.. seriously don't worry about it! but i will say if you're only interested in/have your heart set on one house (which it seems like you do?) then your chances of being disappointed/not getting a bid are a lot higher. but if you keep an open mind and trust the process ffr will most likely work out for you :) good luck!
