what is theta like?
by: UAI go to The Univeristy of Arizona and love it but I'm thinking of transferring because I have to reapply for my business major and scared I won't get in and I'm not really feeling my sorority, Thetas not a bad house here but it's too laid back for my style and just not the house for me. Is theta worth transferring to for? I can't stand cold weather but I'm willing to get use to it if I get to graduate with the major I want and get to be in a good sorority. Does theta here get involved in philanthropy events a lot and have decent sisterhood and are they liked? I heard some harsh stuff but I need an honest review I don't know what to do :(

No, its absolutely not worth it...they're considered a "top" house, but that reputation is quickly dying. They are despised by most people in greek life and on campus, and they are not even liked by the other half of their house. They have an A and B team, I'm sure you've heard of it. Anyone that says "oh thats not all of them, I know some really sweet thetas" don't know what they're talking about. Every member has to be superficial to exist in that house, anyone in their right mind would have dropped a week after joining. They're very good at making people temporarily like them by being very manipulative and fake nice, but people can see through their act pretty quickly.
