what do the teams on theta mean?

A team is less than half of the house that they hand pick to be the "look" or face of the house. It's the ones that they consider their hottest, richest, most popular members. They're the only girls that they allow talk to the people they want during recruitment, basically they know what pnms they do and don't want before the day happens and they match girls they want with the A team and girls they don't care about with a B team girl. But most of the B team stays in the basement anyways. Also, the A team are the only girls featured on the instagram, Facebook, twitter ect. They encourage these girls to make their own instagrams look luxurious and get lots of likes and reward with house points I think.
The B team are the girls who got into the house because they're either legacies, brilliant, or filthy rich, but not pretty or cool. They are the ones that keep the gpa up, but they refuse to acknowledge them like ever. Seriously, if you look through the insta it's the same 30-40 girls featured over and over again. The other 70-80 are the B team. Idk why they don't just drop already.

Its subtle but yeah girls usually know. One girl wanted to drop after finding out she was a B but admitted she stayed for the "top house" status, but that sounds like a living hell to me tbh. I'd rather never live anywhere where I am specifically categorized as insignificant in comparison to my "better and hotter" "sisters".

My theta friend confirmed this. She's in A team though so she doesn't really give a damn :/

Yeah but I mean everyone parties with betas and fijis if your hot. From sigma kappa, to adpi, to Pi phi they all party with them. Depends on looks not social status.
