gpa requirements?

You want to have at least a 3.3 from fall quarter for it not to be a concern. That's around the average for freshmen in most houses so anything below that would in theory be "bringing them down". This is only going to be a really important factor at houses that are academically rigorous like adpi and kappa. Those houses are known for consistently getting the best grades and having the smartest girls with a lot of STEM majors. Otherwise I would offer an explanation for why you struggled instead of hoping they don't notice because they will. Recruitment VP's will appreciate your honesty and sympathize if you're genuine about wanting to improve your grades in the future. If your grades are low talk about how excited you are for the accountability study hours/tables will provide and to have sisters to study with who will help you succeed
