cob: can someone help

I wouldn't worry too much! Houses usually don't have COB events more than once or rarely twice a month. So they may have just not organized one yet. I would keep waiting, maybe a month or so and if no reply I would email back just so that they understand you are interested. Recruitment chairs have a lot to do, so there's always a possibility that they accidentally forgot to respond to you or just got caught up in something else.

But, not replying also is another way to turn someone down unfortunately. Someone in the house may know a cob and may put in a bad word, in which case the house isn't going to waste any time trying to recruit that person. But this is more of a rare case!

Don't be so quick to decide you aren't interested in any particular house. Both FFR and COB are about finding a match and becoming a part of the Greek community. If you want to be Greek, then keep an open mind and visit as many houses as you can. If you've got your heart set on (a) specific house(s) and they're not inviting you over, there's your answer. In other words, if a house, especially a "top" house hasn't invited you over they're not interested. It's not that they're disorganized.
If you're truly only willing to consider certain houses, spend this year cultivating friendships with women in those targets. If you don't know anyone in those houses, ask yourself why you even think they're the right fit for you. I suspect your priorities and goals may not be realistic.

These are very polarizing responses and I am maybe even more confused haha thank you guys though!

Please keep an open mind! There were girls in my recruitment group who ended up dropping out of recruitment because they were disappointed with the houses that called them back. However, that ruins their COB chances because not only do they not haven valid excuse when asked why they dropped FFR, but also they are still stuck on what they perceive to be the "top" houses and refuse to see beyond that. PLEASE keep an open mind! Every house here is special and worthwhile!

I just started the COB process and I can see that the COB list is very short. IS COB still going on?? Or is it almost done???
