Is it just me or it's really hard to get in contact with houses for COB? Any tips beyond emailing and not getting a response? Or is it just a no go at that point?

It won't be hard if they want you. I know that's harsh but for whatever reason a house isn't that motivated to get you then it's probably best to start putting your eggs in other baskets

Yeah, I get it. But I haven't even been to any events yet or met anyone. So does that mean that sororities are already judging you before they meet you?

This year is rough because most houses made quota during FFR and so not a lot are doing COB and the ones that are can be more selective because there's a lot of girls trying to COB into not a lot of spots. There isn't much else you can do besides message the social chairs and hope to hear back. Good luck! You can always consider doing FFR next year too if it doesn't work out.
