reaching out to frats
by: ASandI'm a new freshman interested in joining a frat. I signed up for the recruitment list but I was wondering if it would be weird if I reached out to some of the frats I'm interested in instead of waiting for them to reach out to me.

not weird, shoot them a text. most rush chairs numbers should be on their page on IFC (www.uwifc.com/fraternities). A simple text like this will be fine, "hey [rush chairs name] im [your name] and i recently have found an interest in joining a fraternity. Is your house still rushing for this fall and if so would i be able to come get a tour of the house sometime?"
