housing

Hi! I'm rushing in the fall, and I'm from the Seattle area. I was wondering if it is normal to not stay in the dorms, and stay at home during rush if you are from the area, or does pretty much everyone stay in the dorms?

I live about 25 min from Seattle and me and all my friends commuted! Everyone says staying in the dorms during rush kinda sucked too

I just commuted, it was fine. I didn't make any friends during recruitment but that didn't really matter because I made plenty of friends once I joined my house. Plus it was kind of nice to be able to go home at the end of the day and get away from it all and talk to my family about the process.
