formal recruitment

I just got accepted to UW from Out of State. Due to medical reasons, I have an extremely low HS GPA. I've heard of other schools due to large number cutting girls one round based on GPA. Does this happen at UW too? AM I better off doing COB?

I mean with most houses I don't think Gpa will be a make or break if they absolutely love everything else about you. You could always mention it during formal recruitment (why your Gpa was so low), but I think you should still give formal a shot
