gdis and greeks

It is looked down upon here for greeks to socialize with gdis in any manner of the sort? Say that I'm not in a sorority but a brother so happens to want to bring me to one of his formals, parties, maybe wants to hookup etc... and I have no plans to rush either. Are sorority girls usually a better choice/GDIs that bad?

Some guys in "top tier" fraternities care. But overall it's not really an issue.
