85% of Fortune 500 executives belong to a fraternity.
Of the America’s 50 largest companies 43 are run by a fraternity member.
All Presidents and Vice Presidents besides 2 in each office where affiliated since 1825.
It’s not just about drinking, it’s about growing as a person and making connections.

But also keep in mind majority of those people are white and already pretty wealthy. Yes greek life helps build connections but those statistics has other factors behind it

In order to be wealthy it helps to know wealthy people. You can call Greek life classist or elitists, but college in general is 10 times more classists or elitist then VCU Greek life could ever be. If you are already paying for college, VCU Greek life only costs about 2ish texts books per semester and you’ll get way more out of Greek life than 2 text books could ever provide you.
