by: vcuI was once apart of Greek life here, but my advice to all poc freshmen who are rushing this semester is DONT RUSH. Every sorority claims to care about you and your struggles but they are all secretly anti-black. It’s not worth it. The frats will not let you in to parties (unless you’re light skin, if that) and you will be constantly overshadowed by the white women who use you as a token. Save yourselves.

I was literally just at a fraternity party where there were plenty POC men and women. Literally every Frat could careless about your race all they care about is if you know a brother. Pike has a light skin president, Pikapp has or had a dark skin VP last year(I only included the shade of their skin because it clearly matters to you.) I’m sure there are other frats that have POC in high leadership roles, stop reaching and pushing this false narrative. Although the sorority saying the n word happens but idk how often it does.

Zeta’s “scandal” was actually handled very well by the active sisters and axid hasn’t even had a scandal so what are you even saying lol
