They didn’t disappear, It just looks like they did because they only mix with aopi

Half of them dropped due to some brothers being involved in some scandals and legal issues with females
RealIed that they’re dropping and left before it turned really bad

I used to date one and pretty much it's like this.
2015/16 they have really awesome guys who are fun but don't care about being in a fraternity it's just a drinking club to them. Those guys recruit 25 other like minded people based soley on the fact that they're fun but its still not much of an actual fraternity
2017/2018 the original guys are all graduated and the 25 people I mentioned earlier recruit a bunch of boys and basically triple in size. This is when they had really nice houses and fun parties and pretty good relations with some other greek orgs. Just in general a really solid middle tier chapter.

So basically once those 25 guys graduated the people they recruited turned out to be a bunch of weirdos who had no idea how to run a fraternity and it's been downhill since then. Turns out the only ones in the entire chapter anyone on campus knew or cared about were those 25 guys who were recruited by the original founders.

This is what happens when your fraternity depends entirely on the personalities of your upperclassmen
