What sorority are you currently in? It's up to you if you want to drop your current sorority because you're transferring. If you want to go through recruitment I suggest it. I know plenty of transfers and juniors who rushed! most people who go through recruitment at Vcu are sophomores and juniors

Are you a current initiate of an NPC sorority asking this question? I highly doubt it, as each NPC group strongly educates its membership in the indelible permanence of loyalty upon initiation.
Perhaps you are an initiate of a local or non-NPC sorority? Each local and non-NPC group has specific membership rules that you must inquire if you are to receive the best information to your query.
That said, it would be best to first chat with the women whose group you are abandoning as to whether your availability for recruitment here at VCU is palpable. And when/if it becomes necessary, please avail yourself to the VCU greek life offices as to your bid day possibilities.
