Alpha Xi Delta - ΑΞΔ Sorority Ratings at VCU

My time in the sorority was fun but after I graduated the values of Alpha Xi were stripped and pushed to the side. I am saddened to look back at all of the times I had in this sorority just to know that it isn't what it used to be. I wish I could say that if good sisters would join it would be a chance for change but the fact is all of the good sisters left or disassociated. I hope this sorority finds the right side of history and sticks with it even during the times it doesn't benefit them personally.

Every sorority has its pros and cons, but the number one thing I can appreciate about this sorority is that their recruitment strategy is wayyyy less based on superficially in comparison to what some refer to as “top tier sororities”. by just observing how individualistic and diverse their pledge classes are, one can truly tell this sorority recruits based on personality rather than just looks. As does Tri Sig, Gamma phi beta and Alpha Omicron Pi. Please do not join any of these sororities if your goal is to obtain a false perception of a higher social status. These sororities aren’t meant to inflate one’s ego for the purpose of masking insecurities (LET ME REITERATE: these sororities aren’t meant for a person that perceives themself as aesthetically pleasing, but struggles making and maintaining meaningful connections because they have a horrible personality. AGAIN, that means if you are an attractive girl that is looking to buy the loyalty of women whom she might consider equally attractive, NONE OF THESE SORORITIES ARE FOR YOU. You may want to look into alternative sororities who recruit based solely on looks. These girls will share the same narcissistic tendencies as you, which also prevents them from making friends... and in that case, their loyalty is really up for sale $$$$. Just Remember that you can’t get upset when the the bid they promised you falls through. AGAIN JUST TO CLARIFY, if you chose to join a sorority solely based on attractiveness... please keep in mind that said sorority only extends bids solely based on attractiveness. So guess what? More often then not, there may be someone prettier than you whom they may consider as more as an asset to the chapter, and she will in fact get the bid which the sorority may have already promised you. :)

I know some people who haven’t had any good experiences with them. lots of drama and they bully people they don’t like. they think they are better then others. not good vibes at all.

They’re not too bad..they get hotter every year. girls are chill most of the time. Their philanthropy is controversial

some girls in here are hot and down to earth and fun to be around and some others are so questionable as to how they even got into greek life heard its super cliquey
