I was impressed by the number of groups, activities, and friendliness of people I met when considering joining.

Terrible greek life. They have caused a lot of harm. Only reason why greek life is permissible is due to charity events. Otherwise their social life consists of “trying to get sum” and that’s their diehard motto. They treat their competitions as gang members and use the word “opps.” There are a few individual exceptions, but the frat acts as a unit. Brothers always tell others to calm down before inviting a different organizations member.

Vcu greek life is more of a niche scene at vcu while it doesn’t play into a big part of the culture at vcu, for the going out crowd affiliated or not it has a much larger presence. Greek goddess is really the only people on campus during actual events and parties which make them pretty selective about who comes and who gets in parties/organizations. As a freshman rush VCU‘s recruitment was more selective than I anticipated just because of the stigma around the culture campus at vcu. They have a decent number of rushes being that the organizations are focused on better connections than just numbers recruiting ca be selective Especially for sororities. I would say it’s a niche thing at VCU definitely fine for what it is but nothing compared to like a a big sec school or vtech

Just not good

VCU’s Greek life isn't good. Not an important part of the college experience here. It's not competitive and the social scene isn't great. The lack of real frat houses makes apartment parties a necessary which makes the parties not really emblematic of what frat parties are like at schools with a more developed Greek life. School needs to do more to promote Greek housing if they ever want greeklife to be more than a club equivalent at this school. Graduating senior in Greek life.

Easiest school to get a bid. Not even worth it in the long run

Small community that’s slowly growing. Everyone knows of each other no matter the org. A lot of hate from GDIs Bc it’s VCU art weirdos

It’s a city. The university doesn’t promote it. That’s all I really need to say. Not bad not good just decent.
