Do Rankings Matter?

Does anyone else feel like while you rush, everyone says that rankings don’t matter, but after the fact you realize it’s all that matters. I feel like girls / guys are thought of differently after people ask what sorority/fraternity they belong to. There also isn’t really a tier system like other schools. It seems like sig chi, sig ep, sig nu, phi sig, axo, aphi, kappa, and tri delt are considered “top” while pi kapp, beta, delta chi, lambda, KD, DG, Chi O, and AGD are bottom. I don’t really know where DTD stands since I never hear of them. As someone who dropped rush I feel even worse than being considered “bottom” in this case since it seems like Greek life is everywhere. Villanova really doesn’t give off this vibe when touring the school or hearing about it back home. What does everyone else think?
