About how much does GPA matter to each of the chapters? Is it like competitive southern schools where you get cut from a lot of chapters if your GPA is low. I met the minimum requirement, but I'm just wondering.

Nope. None of them pay attention to it as long as your over what's required by Greek Life.

I wouldn't say it doesn't matter at all. Some sororities rank you on academics during recruitment. You're more likely to get ranked higher in that category with a higher GPA.

no anything above a 3.0 is good

2.5 is the required, besides Chi O, none really care about grades as long as you meet the requirement.

the only reason i can think of a sorority really caring about your GPA is if they're on the verge of social probation because of their chapter's average GPA and need new members with high GPAs to help them out.
