how hard is it to get a bid from nova frats?

Incoming student. Just curious how hard it is to get a bid from a fraternity like Sigma Chi or Sigma Nu at nova. How many bids do they typically give out each year? If I kind of fit a very loose "frat guy" mold should I count on a bid or is this a super competitive thing?

"top 5% coolest guys in ur grade" please frats put no effort into recruiting based on anything they pick guys from their high school lacrosse teams and their roommates and bam pledge class

tons of dudes come to rush expecting bids from frats they have no shot of getting in lol. like over half either don’t get bids/don’t accept bids. to the avg dude thinking of rushing, do some self reflection, if you aren’t in like the top 5% of the coolest dudes on campus, might want to lower your expectations from rush. frat life is sick tho, and there are plenty of opportunities to join chapters (like 5 of the frats got pc’s of <15 dudes in the spring, they all can take more ofc). highly recommend greek life, all the chapters have an enjoyable experience, and just fyi girls in greek life outnumber dudes like 3 to 1 so there’s plenty to go around if that’s your concern lmao
