party scene at villanova?

I come from a really big highschool that throws a lot of parties. I've read online that Villanova doesn't have much of a party scene, and I'm wondering if this is true. Do sororities party more? Will I miss out on the 'college party experience'? Is the nickname of Villanofun accurate? Thanks

for girls it’s easy frats have parties all the time and going out isn’t an issue. for guys it’s a completely different story, joining a fraternity is almost necessary for a good party scene

Yeah but for girls you need to get “pledge rides,” meaning a pledge has to come and pick you up at your dorm and take you to the party. If you don’t have connections to pledges then you’re screwed
