no bid what now
by: skrtWhat are the odds of getting a bid from a fraternity than I didn't get a bid from this semester? What are common mistakes kids make when it comes to not getting a bid. I just am not sure where I went wrong.

Hey skrt, I'm sorry to hear you didn't get a bid from that fraternity this semester, that must have been tough. Keep your head high though! As someone who's been around the rush process for a few years, I assure you it is still very possible for you to get a bid to the chapter you want. Don't focus on where you went wrong, thats pointless. More than likely, there wasn't one thing you did wrong. Rush is a crazy (and stupid) process with way too many candidates and too little time. Chances are, the brothers you liked just didn't get to know you well enough, and you slipped through the cracks. My only advice (as cliche as it is) would just be to be yourself! When the fall rolls around and sophomores rush, you'll have a much better chance as the pool will be smaller in general. Good luck friend. \\V//

Aight fam as a member of a frat here last spring less than 25% of all dudes who rushed actually got bids and ended up pledging so realistically the chances are not in your favor but I'd say go for it fall sophomore rush is always different and chances are better
