SigEp is a great house that has done a lot of good for USU's campus and for the community. They seem to always be pushing forward. As of late, they are moving away from the whole "Mormon frat" thing and are trying to gain a more diverse group without sacrificing their standards.

These guys are pretty average as far as USU Greeks go. Their biggest failing is in brotherhood with many examples of brothers being let down and a clear favoritism towards girls rather than each other!

Unfortunately, this fraternity kind of gets the leftovers in terms of pledges. They are not on the same level as Pike or Sigma Chi at USU. Guys are kinda off it seems like. They throw a decent party occasionally and there are a few nice guys, however, I would never rush this middle tier fraternity.

Im not in any fraternity up here but have been to all of the houses. The Sigma Chi are definitely the most dominant fraternity at USU. They know how to party and are the only reason i can stand living in Utah being from out of state. With the president running for service vp, its also obvious that they are involved on campus as well. Go Sigma Chi!

These guys are not perfect, but they certainly get more involved than other houses. They have the best parties and are natural leaders.

So I took the time to rush this spring but no major decision has been made. To me, this seems like the best house. They do have some draw backs, they weren't very approachable at times; maybe it's that ego thing I keep reading about. And there is drinking that goes around but in a safe controlled environment. On the positive side they have the most influential alumni on campus and possibly worldwide(pike kinda does too.) But I felt the strongest brotherhood there, but pledge ship takes forever.

Not like any other Sig EP chapter I have been too, but are very involved on campus but in my opinion they are NOT a true fraternity. They don't have a pledge ship so brotherhood isn't as strong, but besides a few members(which can be said about all houses.) They have their heads on straight, are going in the right direction. Just need to stop being so one sided and less self righteous.
