Great group of girls who are always there for each other. They really show what being a good sisterhood means.

I have so many friends in this house and they make up such a diverse, involved, fun, and strong sisterhood. They really are a well-rounded group of women who all seem to be leaders in some way, shape or form on campus. Definitely a top tier on this campus.

As a senior in another house, I had a DG junior who was extremely rude at the bar. It kinda sucks when OWU tries to be panhellenic, and girls are disrespectful AF. Have some class. Plus they have to recruit in the fall this year because they lost so many people.

their philanthropy money isn't always towards their philanthropy. other than that tho they're nice girls and know how to have a good time!

Too bad 80% of what they raise for philanthropy goes towards their scholarships and not actual causes for sight.

So true. They raised $3,300 and only $660 goes to their philanthropy, the other $2,640 goes to paying for their own scholarships. So we all paid for DGs to be greek instead of helping those who actually need.

This is actually not true. The money goes to a separate account and they don't have access to the money raised for philanthropy.

ALL money raised during Anchor Splash (or any other philanthropy event held by DG) is sent to their Foundation (which is Service for Sight). No money from their events stays at OWU. If you are participating in raising money for Service for Sight, it is absolutely, 100% turned over to their Foundation. They are not allowed to advertise it being for SFS if it isn’t sent in. Stop with the nonsense.

I’m friends with some DG’s and they all seem really cool! I love their philanthropy event, Anchor Splash and look forward to it every spring (:
