people do care about rank

I keep reading on this site about 'poor insecure freshman who care about rank' and how 'no one at UT actually in sororties really cares'. That's such bull. Sites like this wouldn't thrive with just a few freshman caring. Also it's just good common sense to want to be part of an organzation that you are proud to say you are a part of if you are paying thousands of dollars for the privilege. The people who write 'that no one cares in real life....' are likely the ones on here self ranking daily because they care the most!
