Sign up for the Greek expo at gogreek.utk.edu! It's free and next Tuesday. You'll get to meet all the chapters there in a casual setting and can leave your contact information with them. Then the chapters can contact you and invite you to COB events where you'll do some kind of activity with active sisters and get a feel for them and they'll get a feel for you. If the chapter likes you they can offer you a bid and you can accept. If you get invited to multiple COB events you can get a bid from more than one chapter when the first one calls you you can say "thank you I'll think about it and let you know" and see if you get another bid that you want to consider or you can accept it right away.

As for tips, dress to impress but don't be uncomfortable for the Greek expo. Dress for the season definitely. For COB events if they say it's casual still wear like a nice sweater or something like that because all the active sisters will still look put together.

Don't talk about booze or boys. Don't talk about other chapters. Don't talk about other girls - greek or non Greek.

Mostly just be yourself. You 100% do not want to put a fake personality on and end up in a house where your real personality won't fit in.

Most important though go in with an open mind! Make your own judgement and don't base it off "tiers" or anything you read on this website. I can promise you that you're not too good for any chapter!
