but here is the truth from another house. There are so many great houses here on campus in which you can find good sisterhood. The topic now is AOPi. Because there rarely speak out for themselves, I fell the need to do so. I do have friends in this house This house, is, and has always been tops at this university. They are one of the core four, which goes back to the introduction of sorority on UT's campus in the late 1890's.. Not a fad. Just history. If you are one who looks past the superficial, you won't find more university related ties in any other organization. Excellence in all matters of academic excellence, also stands for state lawmakers, national lawmakers,state senators,business "men", judges, university facility, governor appointed state leaders, major donors, Knoxville girl's cotillion inductees, Miss Tenneessee contestants, Dance team contestant, cheerleaders, Dogwood ball inductees, GPA, sports honors, academic honor societies and general university honors. I only state this, because, this humble organization is most interested in developing the best sisterhood, period. Which is the crux of over 100 years of excellence. Be proud, girls.

OMG....woah, they have alumna trolls for sure...how embarrassing! Seriously, I love AOPI, but they are NOT top at UT. They are an upper middle tier house. There is no "core four" at UT, and if there were AOPI would not be one of them. They just aren't as popular as several others on campus. Oh, and btw Mom, the accolades you spoke of could be true for any house at UT.

this is sweet I think coming from most likely an alum or mother who really cares... awkward though since what they don't realize is it's really more embarrassing haha!
I do like aopi and think they have really genuine, sweet girls. they just aren't talked about as much during recruitment or maybe aren't seen as one of the top houses by pnms.
oh and I think core four is meaning the first four houses founded at ut.. not popularity.

You are either an alum or active but not "the truth from another house." People in "another house" wouldn't know all that. My guess is an alum because the term "Core Four" isn't even used here any more because there isn't one...lol. And if there were AOPI would NOT be in the top four. What an embarrassing SELF RANK for your chapter. It makes you sound very desperate.

Did anybody get dropped from them? Most people I know dropped them. I guess that's why alum have to get on here and try to make them look good.

i have a hard time seeing that. in fact, i have a hard time putting axo above anyone based on the way they present themselves at fraternity philanthropy events but to each his own i guess.

They are middle tier here at UT. They were a top house a few years ago. but others have kid of pushed them down a bit.
