When transferring from another school, how cooperative is UTK with accepting transfer students that were in the sorority at another school?

My chapter has affiliated a few girls that have transferred and have chosen not to affiliate a few girls that have transferred. It's a case by case basis.

I thought once you were initiated you could affiliate anywhere? So much for 'sisters for life'.

Every chapter is different everywhere. If we felt that the particular girl did not have the same goals my specific chapter had or she wouldn't represent us well we chose not to affiliate her. I'm sure your chapter has done it too and probably just didn't share with the chapter.

So do they tend to be very picky when deciding how to vote on a transfer?

Depends on the chapter but mine was just if we liked her and could relate to her or not
