leaving...
by: Torn...I really want to leave UT. I'm a sophomore and after a year I'm still not happy.. There are a lot of people from my hometown who have not made it easy for me to come here. I am afraid the girls in my chapter will hate me & stop speaking to me if I leave. I don't want them to think I betrayed them but I think transferring is what's best for me.. Should I talk to my president?

are the girls from your hometown that are giving you trouble also in your chapter? Or are they separate from y our chapter but making you miserable and you just think if you leave the girls in your house will be upset with you? Please explain but I do think you need to do what is best for you and not worry about the other girls. Also, YES you should talk to your president and explain how you are feeling. You should be getting support from your house/sisters. You shouldn't feel that you are alone in all of this. I don't know what is going on but even though I said do whats best for you, I also think you need to do it for the right reasons. Don't give people like those girls the power to control you.
