is chi o good here?

You sound EXTREMELY stuck up and DZ is good at a lot of other schools, middle tier at places like florida and UGA and bama. Top tier at schools in the west like Arizona state and Texas state. They are one of the largest sororities nationally and have raised one of the most for philanthropy. It's clear your secret agenda is to bash DZ here which is so uncalled for. They are too a great sorority nationally.

Houses are different at every school. That's just the way it is. PhiMu is AWESOME here and at my cousin's school she says it's horrible. It sounds like you pledged CHIO because you thought it gave you some sort of status here. Truthfully, it's average here, real nice girls, but just average. They aren't great at every school either like you said. My best friend is at a major university where they are ranked dead last. A lot of what you see on this site is untrue and a lot is true. Like it or not, DZ is a good house here. They have recruited well the last few years and were well sought out by PNM's. So at UT, they are considered considerably better than CHIO. School to school it is all different. You should never base the reputation of a house at your school on that of other schools.

Chio is good at UT as are all houses. The need for immature girls to get on GR just to put down some houses to make theirs seem better(in their minds) is the real purpose of GR. IF you were on campus you would know the rankings and statuses of some houses on GR is just the agenda based insecurities of a select few. Go Pan

Chio is good, but this is the second slam at a house that it appears a CHIO has made. There have been threads asking why TriDelt's pledge class is better than CHIO's, and now this post about DZ. The honest truth is, both of these houses are better than CHIO at UT. Ask anybody on campus , and they would say the same. These posts seem to be coming from a freshman second guessing her choice to pledge CHIO. A HUGE mistake many make is being influenced by others when deciding what house to join. Well meaning alum tell PNM's that "such and such" is the best house so make sure to pledge there. In reality, CHIO used to be one of the top at UT but has slowly become less popular. Being popular is not the most important thing. Embrace your house.

Totally disagree. A thread was purposely started just to hurt a house. Usually the op answers their own mean thread just for drama to see who takes the bait. So let's don't take the bait! Instead of answering hate with hate, let's show Pan support by either not responding or saying that chio , dz, tri delt etc are great houses and they would never respond to threads like this. Op is just a non pan troll. remember that.

I am not so sure about that. My guess is am immature freshman CHIO pledge who is obsessed with the fact she didn't join a "top" house when she thought she was.

am just going to answer the OP's original question. CHIO is an average house at UT. Why? Because it is not one of the houses that PNM's are dying to get in to so they aren't considered as popular as some others. They are nice girls, but honestly, fly under the radar...average looks and not real visible on campus. They are super sweet and smart and have a lot of great girls. Popularity isn't all that matters!!!

Just wondering because i keep seeing DZ ranked ahead of it on here and i've never heard of DZ being even close to Chi O anywhere. Like if you tell people from anywhere you are a Chi O, the automatically assume it's good and if you say DZ they are like 'eh sorry' because it always sucked where they went to school. So is this board just BS?
