grade risk

I looked at the minimum GPA requirements for each sorority on the UT website but I was wondering what makes you considered a grade risk?

3.25 for incoming freshman
3.00 current college

So if you're under that GPA but not lower then the sororities minimum GPA do you still have a chance? Even if you have rec & rifs, community service, athletics etc? Some sororities have 2.5 minimum for current college students but if 3.0 is a grade risk..?

Active members GPA is allowed to be lower because a 3.5 GPA is harder to have in college than it is for a PNM coming out of high school to have..
