This may get a lot of negative comments and people might disagree, and they have every right to. This is just my perspective. I truly believe the gap between the sororities is closing, not super fast but it's still happening. People may be reluctant to realize or acknowledge it, but "bottom" houses have started to really put in a lot of effort to better themselves. They get a lot of good out of state girls and a lot of great girls who weren't the most popular or well-known in high school. I'm not putting down any chapter, all have amazing qualities and all have some not so great moments. It's a bunch of 18-22 year old girls away from home, learning life lessons while trying to get an education. Ultimately I think being Greek is something special & ties all the sororities together. The sororities in each row are interchangeable and it's done in now specific order within tiers.

Can you guys stop hanging on to what used to be? Adpi and chi o are not at the top anymore. I know you hate to see it but it's true. And "just my opinion" saying that those are the ones you want but are happy to "settle" for group two is beyond rude. Every chapter is a great chapter but realize that things to do change.

I didn't say those are the ones you want. I said those are the ones you hear about. Everyone hears talk before rush, that's just the way it is. But when I went through I was surprised by the houses I did and didn't connect with and it had nothing to do with the houses that girls were saying they should be in. In fact some of those houses just didn't impress me during recruitment so it became confusing as to why all the hype. Nothing against any house, but definitely go with the houses that are rushing you hardest. They are the ones that want you and you will be glad to get a bid from them. That's what I meant. And please don't settle go with your heart.

I think she is saying that one of the houses ranked as a top house is her chapter.....idk how making a statement based on another statement is "conceited"
