rec letters

So I'm rushing this fall and am having a hard time finding sorority alumnae to write recs for me. My GPA is in good standing for all of the houses and i answered all of the questions to the best of my ability when signing up for recruitment. Will not having any recs really hurt my chances of receiving a bid?

You need to get recs. It will be one of the first criteria used to cut girls. Keep trying. Explain your situation, ask for help, send your "resume" and ask to meet for coffee, do whatever it takes for someone to feel comfortable enough with you to do a rec.
