Do sororities have quotas for sophomores?

What exactly does that mean? Does that mean they need to recruit X number of sophomores or does it mean they can only have up to X amount of sophomores if that makes sense? Does each sorority have to rush sophomores?

Yes. Technically, the way it works is that sophomores are in a separate pool than freshman so probably more likely to get house they want.

Like freshman, the number of sophomores that sign a pref card divided by the number of chapters (13) establishes the sophomore quota. If the sophomores maximize their options (like freshmen) there should be a place for them. Also like freshman, sophomores aren't guaranteed their 1st choice, so be open minded during the process.
