missing meetings & fines--athletes?

I didn't rush this year but plan on rushing next year. I was wondering if you're a student athlete and miss meetings due to events or practices are you still fined? If so how much? How many mandatory events do you to on average?

Each chapter varies with what they fine and how much. Since you are an athlete and you'll have to travel I would think if you sent in excuses it would be okay. Good luck and hope to see you in the fall!
