I would ADD personality! I know time is limited during rush but do your best to connect with someone at each house/round you are invited to. Let them get to know you. I think that means more than "connections." I mean clearly there are legacies but being a legacy doesn't automatically mean they are the right fit for a certain house. Don't let that intimidate you. Just be yourself and you will be fine. I am not a legacy, I had zero connections to any house. I knew NOBODY, not even a casual acquaintance. I was offered a bid to the house that I liked the best. It all worked out. And btw, I am not an outgoing personality that can "work a room." I connected with the right girl in the right house for me.
